An experienced payroll specialist to provide support to key clients for a mid-tier accounting firm with end-to-end payroll, just have experience with payroll tax across different states.Join a mid-tier accounting provider as a Payroll Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while contributing to a successful team.Melbourne CBD location$85pkgBe part of a mid-tier accounting firm that prides itself on fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace, supporting career development, recognizing contributions, and cultivating a culture of high performance.Key Responsibilities:Administer and manage the fortnightly and weekly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Handle payroll adjustments, terminations, leave reconciliations, and one-off payments for a number of their key clients across Australia.Assist with process documentation, identify potential improvements, and ensure a strong focus on audit and governance.Interpret awards, validate calculations, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions.Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive and practical approach, maintaining high standards of communication and service.Skills & Experience:Proven experience handling payroll end to end ideally supporting different clients.Extensive experience with payroll systems.Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, including taxation, superannuation, terms, and leave.Proficiency in time and attendance systems, award/enterprise agreement interpretation, and payroll system integration.Strong analytical skills, organizational skills and ability to multitask.Excellent computer literacy, particularly in Excel.How to Apply:If you're an experienced payroll professional looking for your next career opportunity, we would love to hear from you!
