We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. No prior payroll experience is necessary, but we do seek someone with a keen willingness to learn, a high level of attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive team environment and is looking to develop their skills in a dynamic workplace.
Key Responsibilities Manage the complete payroll process from start to finish – don't worry we will train you!Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all payroll activities, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.Provide support within the business for payroll-related queries.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and practices.Develop an understanding of relevant awards and agreements affecting payroll.Stay updated with changes in payroll-related laws, awards, and collective agreements to ensure compliance.About You You are highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and develop into a payroll specialist together with:
You possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.Your customer service skills are excellent, and you are friendly and approachable.You are a strong team player and communicator who values collaboration.You have a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.You are adept at interpreting data and understanding complex information.Prior experience in payroll is not required, but an interest in learning about payroll and HR legislation is crucial.About us As one of the South Australia's largest and most iconic organisations, we're proud to deliver our trusted range of motor, home, and travel services to more than 815,000 members.
