Elite Team: Collaborate with the industry's best and brightest, working on challenging projects across varying industries.Exceptional Workplace: With an 88% people engagement score, we encourage a flexible and supportive work environment.Professional Growth: Benefit from mentorship and professional development opportunities.Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Receive a competitive base salary and other benefits including well-being initiatives and family support package.Flexibility and Well-Being: Enjoy hybrid working options and a modern, collaborative workspace in Perth's CBD.Inclusive Culture: Thrive in a diverse team that values excellence, integrity, and inclusion.Key Duties and Responsibilities: Payroll processing (internal and external): Process end to end payrolls within the required cycle timeframe for internal and external client payroll processes.Payments: Process annual and out of cycle pay increases or reimbursements where applicable. Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.External Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate and provide guidanceto relevant clientcontacts  to ensure alignment and understanding of payroll data and requests, within the agreed scope of work.Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Provide guidance and attend to queries and requests from internal employees related to internal end to end payroll processing.Payroll governance: Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date internal and external client payroll records.Compliance: Work closely with our People & Performance and Finance teams to ensure compliance with Company policy and procedures and workplace legislative requirements.Experience and Skills: Essential
Demonstrated experience processing end to end payroll for 50+ employees Demonstrated experience using payroll processing software (or capability to learn) such as Attache; Payroll Metrics; MicrOpay; Definitiv, Xero and ProntoExperience (or capability to learn) the interpretation of workplace industrial instruments such as Awards and Enterprise Agreements across industriesExcellent time management skills to meet regular payroll end to end processing commitments and provide timely responses to all stakeholdersStrong database knowledge including high level Excel skillsStrong planning and organisational skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy of data entry and record keepingHighest level of confidentiality and discretion in dealing with personal employee information Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Personal Qualities: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a teamCommitment to ethical practices and maintaining high professional standards and confidentialityAbility to work under pressure in a calm and methodical mannerProactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges with a solutions focus Well-developed communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow instruction concisely, using initiative with the ability to recognise when to escalate for assistance Ability to work collaboratively within Mapien's diverse and multi-disciplinary team.An enthusiastic willingness to learn and a positive can-do attitude Apply today!
