Where the team fits in
As a Payroll Specialist, you'll contribute your subject matter expertise and work with a wide range of key stakeholders from our employees themselves, Finance & Risk partners and the broader People & Culture function.
What The Role Is All About Work closely with Payroll team to manage monthly payroll process, ensuring correctness, eligibility, and timeliness of payments in terms of Awards, Employment Contracts, organisational policies, and other relevant legislation.
Provide internal subject matter expertise on superannuation, redundancy calculations, payroll tax, etc.
Liaise with employees at all levels and answer queries in a clear and accurate manner.
Review and oversee current payroll practices, determining what efficiencies can be made, if any.
Assisting with reporting where required.
Who We're Looking For Strong background and working knowledge in Payroll and relevant legislation.
Payroll compliance knowledge, including sound employment tax and industrial relation knowledge.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
General problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
Experience with Workday & Ramco is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with business and technical resources.
