This is a stand-alone position that is the go-to for all things payroll.
A collaborative and continuous improvement mindset, ability to work autonomously under pressure, as well as experience interpreting enterprise agreements as they relate to payroll are essential.Key responsibilities for this role:Reporting to both the Corporate Finance Manager and with an indirect line to the General Manager Human Resources, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for delivering a range of payroll services, as well as undertaking finance and general human resources tasks.What you will need to succeed:Minimum 7 years' experience in autonomously delivering effective and efficient payroll services with competing priorities and managing a computer-based payroll function involving Contract and Enterprise Agreement and/or Award staffExperience in WorkCover, reconciliations, generating reportsGood interpersonal skills, verbal / written communication skillsCollaborative and continuous improvement mindsetStrong attention to detailProficiency in the Microsoft products suiteExperience in the use of the ELMO PayRTA system would be well regardedValid Current Australian Drivers LicenceIf you are passionate about payroll and finance, and want to make a real impact, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
