This is a project and client consulting support role, advising companies how best to utilise the payroll system to suit their business, and setting up the system to meet those needs. You will have a good understanding of Australian payroll requirements and payroll systems, with the ability to analyse client needs, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support.
You will collaborate with clients to understand their payroll processes, configure software systems, and ensure seamless implementation.
Responsibilities Include: Client Consultation Conduct requirement workshops with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their payroll needs, organisational structure, and strategic objectivesAnalyse existing payroll systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimisationCollaborate closely with key stakeholders to determine detailed requirements, ensuring alignment with the client's business goalsProvide ongoing support to clients, addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring the software meets their evolving needs.Business Process Analysis Evaluate and analyse existing payroll processes within client organisationsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and recommend tailored solutions that align with industry best practices.Software Configuration and Customisation Configure and implement payroll software solutions based on client specificationsCollaborate with clients to define system requirements, including tax calculations, deductions, and other payroll-related parametersEnsure smooth integration of payroll software with existing HR and financial systems.Training Workshops Provide comprehensive training sessions for client key users on the payroll software, addressing specific client needs and skill levelsGather feedback during demonstrations to tailor the solution to meet client expectations.Requirements Documentation Create and maintain detailed documentation of client configurations, software customisations, and implementation processes clearly and conciselyCreate detailed specifications and user stories to guide the development and implementation of custom features.Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation processAct as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations based on industry expertise.To be successful in this role, you will need to have Proven experience as a Payroll Software Consultant or in a similar roleExceptional client-facing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersIn-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirementsProficiency in payroll software systems, with experience in implementation and customisationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Who is Fusion5 Some would say we're a business that sells software and business applications.
