A job to be proud of: Focusing on both payroll and rostering support, you will provide high level support in the administration and processing of the fortnightly payroll of approximately 2000 employees.
This is 6 month fixed term contract.
You must be comfortable with interpreting relevant employment conditions, awards and agreements and have worked in a busy payroll function.
You will need to possess high attention to detail, be able to multi-task and manage your time effectively whilst processing high volumes of data entry under minimal supervision.
What you'll do: Ensuring payroll information is calculated correctly and entered accurately and efficiently into the CHRIS21 Payroll system Collate and enter timecards for payroll requirements Responding to payroll queries from employees, managers and external parties within an adequate timeframe Contributing to regular payroll reporting including end of month requirements What you'll need: Previous experience in a Payroll Officer position Demonstrated experience in using Comprehensive HR Integrated Solution (Chris21) Payroll system is desirable Strong data entry skills 'fast and accurate' accompanied with a high level to attention to detail Experience with timecards and coding (desirable) Accounting knowledge (desirable) Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Office Skills specifically with Excel Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to demonstrate initiative Strong customer service and analytical skills The ability to work well under pressure and with little supervision Effective time-management and planning skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills What's in it for you?
