Generous discounts across all our Brands!Full Time opportunity to work for a uniquely Australian Fashion Retail GroupLearning and development opportunity to build a career in PayrollAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Payroll Officer to join a dynamic team at Brandbank.Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role will be required to assist the payroll team to ensure effective administration of payroll services across all of our retail brands by performing a variety of tasks associated with preparation of the fortnightly payroll. Ideal role for someone who is looking to build a career in the Payroll industry.
THE ROLE:Assist with the processing of the fortnightly payroll for store staff, including calculation as per award, coding and entering into the payroll systemEnsure that time sheets are processed in a reliable, timely and efficient manner ensuring correct remuneration on the due date and in compliance with relevant industrial instruments, including Awards and common law contractsInput details of new staff members into MicrOpay, including the processing of taxation, banking and superannuation detailsSupport the reviewing and preparation of termination calculations to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and legislationUpgrading of pay classifications for employees when increases take place according to the AwardRespond in a timely manner to payroll queries from store teams or managementTHE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 2+ years experience in payroll position (Retail Industry preferred)Sound knowledge of MicrOpay or similar payroll system (preferred but not essential)Knowledge of Humanforce (Timetarget) Time and Attendance System preferred but not essentialDemonstrated knowledge of awards and award classifications; Modern Retail Award, preferred but not essential.Proficiency in all MS Office Programs (Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills: VLOOKUP & pivot tables)Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environmentAn understanding of the payroll cycle and processesExcellent accuracy and attention to detail skillsComfortable to work onsite in our St Kilda Rd Offices 5 days per week.ABOUT BRANDBANK GROUP:Brandbank was founded on bold creative thinking.
