ABOUT THE ROLE Due to ongoing growth, we have a Payroll Officer position available in our Payroll team in Toowoomba Head Office, on a full time basis. However, Part Time Hours will be considered for the right applicant. Your responsibilities include:
Setup & Maintain Payroll Records, including New Starters, Payroll Changes & TerminationsProcess end to end payroll for Mort & Co and associated entities in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with contracts, awards, enterprise agreements and legislative requirementsLiaise with and support Employees & Site Administration in relation to requests and queries for information pertaining to payroll mattersInterpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements & Employment ContractsReconciling, processing and receipting payroll deductions for employees, including rent deductions, fuel deductions and salary sacrifice amountsATO Compliance (PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax)ABOUT YOU To be successful in this position you'll have a background in business admin, which would be helpful, and payroll experience is definitely desirable. You'll also bring:
