As a leader in their industry, both nationally and across the globe, they are looking for a committed payroll officer to join the team and provide innovative ideas and improvements to encourage the success of the wider organisation.Job DescriptionReporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Conducting end-to-end payroll functions for offices, efficiently running to designated deadlines.Recording payroll data in required programs (incl. Employment Hero) and conducting accurate monthly payment runs.Upholding employee records and answering all enquiries related to payroll.Undertaking monthly journals in Employment Hero, ensuring full reconciliation, and assisting with end of month payroll duties.Assisting with any additional ADHOC tasks that may be required by the organisation.The Successful ApplicantWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer who has the ability to drive improvement processes within the team, as well as to think outside the box. An individual who wants to progress their career in payroll and is driven to do so will be well suited to the role.Key competencies:Ability to drive success in the payroll team and to take initiative with tasks.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in addition to strong customer service skills.Someone who is able to adapt quickly and be open to learning new skills.At least 2 years' experience in an end-to-end Payroll Officer role.Experience in Employment Hero (or ELMO) is highly regarded.What's on OfferWhat's on offer:Working from home flexibility, with 2 days WFH available.Career progression, training and development opportunities.Convenient location for locals in Croydon, based in a modern workspace.Free on-site parking.Competitive remuneration.
