Payroll Officer

Job description The Opportunity ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with well-established residential builder. As a high-end residential home builder in Adelaide, they specialise in delivering exceptional custom home designs. With all designs completed in-house, they also have a strong reputation in the market for delivering homes on time and on budget. This is a great opportunity for a Payroll Officer with a strong passion for design to join a well-established home builder.    The Role With offices located on the city fringe and with onsite parking, our client is looking for a Payroll Officer who is highly organised and capable of working within a collaborative and growing finance team. You will use your multi-tasking abilities every day and have excellent communication skills in order to liaise with clients and all members of the team.     You will: Process payroll Complete financial reconciliations Assist with Accounts Payable processing Prepare EOM processes including PAYG tax clearing and superannuation reconciliation Set up new employees, terminations and leave requests Maintain staff files both electronically and hardcopy Ensure employee entitlements are paid according to contract   The Like Mind To be successful in this role you will have a positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to show initiative when managing various tasks. You will: Have sound knowledge of accounting and payroll principals Uphold confidentiality of documents and employees Work toward tight deadlines Current knowledge of legislation, including modern awards and national employment standards (highly regarded but not essential) You will ideally have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a payroll or accounts role.   How to apply Click APPLY or contact Anna Roussos Founder and Director, or Jenna Austin on 08 7073 6872 for a confidential discussion.   All communication and your resume are treated strictly confidential and will be kept completely private until we have discussed the role and you are comfortable moving forward with the opportunity.
