About the role: Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, the Payroll Officer is required to run the end-to-end payroll for approximately 250+ employees on a fortnightly basis. SAP EC/ECP has recently been upgraded and this newly created position will be responsible for ensuring we run a seamless payroll and provides support as required to the broader HR team.
Requirements of the role: Manage the end-to-end processing of the payroll.Be the 'go to' specialist for all payroll queries, onboarding, terminations, promotions, transfers, roster change and all types of leave management.An excellent understanding of SAP Employee Central (EC) and EC Payroll, with technical and practical skills in running payroll and the management of the payroll system.Understanding of tax legislation.Ability to reconcile pays and leave for employees.Excellent communication skills and experience in employee and stakeholder management.Good understanding of HR processes and how they drive functionality usage into SAP EC /ECP SuccessFactors.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Utilise excel (intermediate exp required) for reporting and reconciliation purpose.Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines.Understanding of novated lease and salary sacrifice to super options.Why Us:

This is a contract role initially working Monday to Friday on a part-time basis. It's a requirement of this role to be in the office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; however, there is flexibility with start and finish times. To be eligible to apply for this role you MUST have SAP experience and be legally permitted to work permanently in Australia.
