Payroll Officer

Full time permanent position with flexible working hours.
Experience with Chris21 preferred.The Organisation:MARS recruitment is currently working with a reputable company that is actively looking for a Payroll Officer who will join their payroll department on a permanent, full time basis.West Perth locationFlexibility: hours and 1 day WFHFantastic salary package - $80-100k plus super (depending on experience)Amazing company values and ethicsCompany benefitsResponsibilities:To be considered you must have experience in some or all of the following areas:Collect, compile and enter a high volume of payroll dataEnd to end PayrollResponsible for payment of payroll related statutory costs including:SuperannuationPAYGPayroll TaxWorkers Compensation insuranceCalculate and post payroll deductionsExperience with implementing new systems and processesPrepare & send timesheetsReconcile employee deductionsInvestigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errorsProcess new employees, terminations, transfers and promotionsAddress employee's pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll informationDevelop, manage and maintain comprehensive payroll recordsPayroll related General Ledger reconciliations and journals (Balance sheet and P & L)Your skills and experience:To be successfully shortlisted for the available positions we are looking for candidates with the following:4+ years' experience as a Payroll Officer (end-to-end)Experience with Chris21 highly desirableMust have strong excel skillsUnderstanding of awardsOpen to change and love a challengeStrong analytical skills and attention to detailMUST be located in Western Australia and hold Australian Permanent Residency or CitizenshipIf you are an experienced payroll officer and keen to take that next step in your career, we'd like to hear from you.
