Position: Payroll Officer As a Payroll Officer, you will process client's payroll, meet the time restraints and deadlines required by the clients and The Access Group, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service to all clients.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Process payrolls when received by clients per the agreed payroll calendars.
Monitor client communications to ensure they are responded to for general enquiries, special 'out of cycle' payrolls and requests for manual payments.
Answer telephone enquiries.
Process third-party payments such as PAYG to ATO, Child Support, Superannuation.
Assist in the planning and implementation of legislative changes to payroll that affect clients, such as changes to superannuation, taxation reporting and awards.
Assist other team members achieve the daily goals of all payrolls completed and banked on time.
Reconcile general ledgers and reports to ensure they balance prior to sending to clients.
Ensure client payroll processing notes are maintained.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications: 5 Years experience payroll processing.
Data-driven system experience ideally.
Flexible work style.
General Ledger experience desirable.
Highly organised.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good communicator.
Problem-solving ability.
Team goal focused.
