The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our Belmont Office and support a team of 4 with end-to-end payroll processing. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Officer's responsibilities will include:Processing end-to-end weekly & fortnightly payrolls accurately and on timeInterpreting relevant Awards and EAs to process payroll, and configure payroll system rules correctlyAssist in the resolution of complex payroll queries and issuesManage the provision of timely, relevant and accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders including statutory and regulatory bodiesMonthly and quarterly reconciliation of PAYG, superannuation, portable long service leave, and other general payroll maintenance tasks About You The ideal candidate will have:2-3 years prior experience in end-to-end payroll processing with high volume, blue and white-collar employees (essential)Strong understanding of legislation, taxation and superannuation related to payroll processing activities.Previous experience with interpreting and understanding industrial instruments including Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Common Law arrangementsExcellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detailAbility to work autonomously and a strong team contributorStrong analytical skills and intermediate Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills The BenefitsWorking with a friendly, diverse and supportive teamAccess to our Employee Assistance Program for you and your familyFree onsite parking every day How to Apply If after reviewing this advertisement you feel you are a good fit for the role and meet the listed criteria, please select Apply!.
