Payroll OfficerRamsay Health Care AustraliaThe OpportunityJoining the Victorian Payroll Department, this role will involve supporting the payroll team in accurately and efficiently processing employee payments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining payroll records.This is an entry-level position, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong attention to detail and a desire to learn and develop within the payroll profession.This is a permanent full-time opportunity, with work from home flexibility. There is a requirement to be in the VIC Head Office in St Kilda 2 days a week.Key AccountabilitiesMaintain and update employee payroll records with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.Input and process payroll data meticulously, covering employee hours, leave, bonuses, and deductions.Validate and reconcile time and attendance records to ensure precision in payroll calculations.Generate and distribute required payroll reports according to management needs.Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.Stay abreast of local, state, and federal payroll regulations, ensuring strict compliance with payroll practices.Collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.Your Key Skills and ExperienceExperience within payroll is not essential, however you will have a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.Excellent attention to detail and ability to use initiative.Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with some complexity.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Basic understanding of payroll principles and regulations desirable though not essentialWhat's in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
