From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here - providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.Are you a Payroll Specialist looking for an opportunity to advance your career in a Not-for-profit industry?About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity following an internal restructure for a Payroll Officer to join our team on a permanent full time basis in a fast paced environment, based in Redfern.The Payroll Officer ensures the accurate processing of the payroll, including timesheets, leave, termination calculations, superannuation and other payroll calculations. They are the go-to person for payroll queries via email.Key Responsibilities:Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 11000 employees within a team / 1000 employees individuallyProcess payroll autonomously with the iChris payroll softwareCalculation and payment of termination paymentsRespond to worker queries as required to ensure that matters or issues are resolved in a timely and accurate mannerUndertake required processes in iChris and Salvos Workday to ensure accurate and effective data managementAbout youOur ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical and minimum of 2-4 years payroll experience. It's essential that you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in payroll.Demonstrated 2+ years' experience in a similar payroll processing roleComprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation and award interpretationA strong analytical background and proficient Excel skillsDemonstrable experience in superior customer serviceExposure to multiple EAs and award and high-volume (+11,000 employees) payroll processingWhy work for usTSA offers an inclusive work culture and strong opportunities for career development.
