Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our team based at our Inverell Facility on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head Of Payroll you will contribute to the seamless payroll operations in a large company with over 1300 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and award interpretation. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity. Process payroll adjustments, such as deductions, superannuation, and leave entitlements. Assist with payroll queries and provide support to employees and managers. Collaborate across multiple departments to ensure payroll processes align with company objectives. Desired Skills and Experience What You'll Bring:
Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel . Familiarity with payroll systems and/or accounting software . Excellent organisational and time management skills. Basic understanding of award interpretation and payroll legislation (highly regarded). Cert III in Financial Services or willingness to obtain (highly regarded). What We Offer:
