Payroll Officer

Our client is a well-known Healthcare services organisation based in Melbourne's Inner City Suburbs, they are seeking a experienced Payroll Officer to join their high performing Payroll services team on a permanent basis.Key responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Payroll Services teamProvide first line customer service in response to employee payroll enquiriesEnsure compliance with statutory and organisational requirements through adherence to relevant processes and controlsAccurately calculate wages, terminations, leave entitlements, and redundanciesInterpreting and update records across the organisation in compliance with the awardLeave management calculations, including maternity leave and long service leaveAssist the Senior Payroll Administrator with the fortnightly pay runs and administrative tasksIdentify and report payroll related issues to relevant stakeholdersAssist with processing Superannuation, PAYG and salary packagingAssist with receiving, collating and filing of documentation, including associated systems data entryWhat we are looking for: Experience in a large payroll function in a complex environmentDemonstrated commitment to customer serviceGood interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationshipsExperience in identifying and implementing service improvementsAbility to prioritise and manage expectationsProblem Solving ability.High level of accuracy.Attention to detail.Work independently.Analytical.ProactiveWhat you will get: Great remunerationOpen door and inclusive cultureHybrid working arrangement - Work from homeNetworking and social eventsImmediate start available for the right candidate
