About the opportunity Step into a pivotal role at Cardinia Shire Council, where your expertise will ensure seamless and compliant payroll services. This is your chance to make a significant impact on our organisation and to support our dedicated employees.
You will make an impact by Processing fortnightly payroll (over 650 employees), including commencements and terminations, long service leave and ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Administering and updating the HRIS (Aurion), ensuring data accuracy and security, and generating necessary reports. Responding to payroll-related inquiries, offering accurate guidance based on our Enterprise Agreement, legislation, and policies. Conducting Aurion Self Service Training and assisting with queries, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. Contributing to projects aimed at improving payroll processes. What you will bring Proven track record in managing end to end payroll functions. Demonstrated experience in the calculations and processing of long service leave and termination payments. Strong ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in all payroll activities. Experience with Aurion will be highly regarded. In-depth knowledge of relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and statutory requirements. Excellent communication skills to provide a customer-centric approach to employees.
