Immediate start for an experienced Payroll Officer, onsite parking, based south of the Hobart CBD.Your new companyLocated south of the Hobart CBD, this well-known Tasmanian business is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer, 2 days a week until Feb 2025. They are market leaders within their field and have a reputation for providing excellent working conditions.Your new roleDue to a recent change in their business requirements, there is now an opportunity for a proficient Payroll Officer to join their team on a part-time temporary contract. Working 2 days a week, you'll be reporting to the Finance Manager. You'll be responsible for assisting with the processing of a fortnightly payroll for over 130 staff and be a central contact for staff enquiries.What you'll need to succeedYou'll possess knowledge of modern awards and have a proven record working on a payroll for 100+ staff. Your written and verbal communication skills will be highly developed, and you'll be an excellent team player. You'll have the proven ability to work autonomously and will enjoy a challenge.
