Look no further - our expanding team is on the lookout for a Payroll Lead ready to embrace their next challenge.This newly created role is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related client services, including recordkeeping and reporting. This role requires in-depth knowledge of payroll procedures, familiarity with on-hire payroll systems, and compliance with Australian payroll regulations and company policies. The Payroll Lead will work closely with the Sales teams to ensure seamless onboarding and payroll integration for casual employees.Based in our fantastic office in Robina, with flexible work arrangements, this role encompasses:Payroll Processing:Process casual employee payroll on a fortnightly basis.Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including processing timesheets and changes to pay rates.Verify payroll data including hours worked, deductions, allowances & expenses, and overall accuracy.Balance all payroll ledger accounts, including posting of all payroll related journals.Manage payroll-related communications and transactions for on-hire employees.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with Australian payroll laws and regulations, including Fair Work Act, Superannuation Guarantee, and PAYG withholding.Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings as required (e.g. payroll tax, Single Touch Payroll).Customer Service:Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and concerns.Provide payroll information and guidance to Sales team and on-hire employees as needed.Systems and Process Improvement:Utilise payroll systems effectively.Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.Participate in system upgrades and testing.Collaboration:Work closely with Sales, Finance, and other departments to ensure cohesive operations.Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts related to payroll.Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods (e.g., end of month, year-end reporting).Why You'll Love Working At Medrecruit:The flexibility. We process over 800 casual employees per month.Desirable to have experience using 2cloudnine payroll system.Skills:Strong understanding of payroll principles and practices.Proficient in payroll software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Grow with Us:Our commitment is to provide not just a job, but a journey of personal and professional growth.
