About the role An exciting new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS as our Payroll Officer.
This position is being offered on a permanent, part-time basis working 3 days per week, ideally Monday – Wednesday 8am – 4pm, however, flexible on this pending the right candidate.
This role is offered on a salary of $39.31 - $42.16 / hour gross dependent on skills and experience plus salary packaging options.
As the Payroll Officer, you will provide support in the processing and execution of our staff's fortnightly payroll.
You will support staff on general queries and ensure timesheets are in, lodged and accurate.
In addition, you will work with the corporate services team to reduce payroll errors and support efficiencies and processes within ARRCS payroll.
ARRCS payroll processes over 600 staff fortnightly.
As the successful candidate, you will be able to provide evidence of prior experience in the transactional processing of payroll, ideally with 500+ staff members.
You will have previous knowledge of payroll systems, with preference to Aurion and Kronos.
You will be able to commit to part-time hours and be comfortable on providing advice and solutions to general payroll queries.

Skills & experience To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
Previous experience undertaking core payroll processing duties. Intermediate level of competency using Microsoft Office. Experience with the AURION payroll system (desirable). Experience with KRONOS Time and Attendance system (desirable). Exposure to large and complex environment with multiple EBA's, Awards, and pay processing cycles (desirable). ARRCS mandatory compliance: It is mandatory for all employees to hold or have lodged the following.
These are not required at time of application, however, if successful must be lodged prior to commencement:
A National Police Check lodged or dated within 3 months of commencement. Provide evidence of current year Influenza Vaccination. A current NDIS Workers Screening Check or proof of application.
