The Viva Energy Retail team is working to build Australia's largest Convenience Retailer - with an expansive footprint, an amazing customer offer and a highly engaged team. Energy is a critical input and significant cost for our Retail business which includes a network of over 700 "Express" fuel and convenience stores nationally. We are continually looking for ways to improve how we purchase and consume energy, and to reduce the greenhouse emissions associated with it. Job Description You will manage your own workload and solve technical problems based on your experience and backed by your can-do attitude. Your scheduled responsibilities will include working with cross-company payroll teams to manage weekly payroll processes for a portion of the Convenience and Mobility business' approximately 6000 team members and playing a lead role in payroll year end processes and audits. Your day to day activities will include managing the upload of timesheet data, award interpretation and working to ensure team members are paid accurately and on time. You will be the subject matter expert across the business and partner with the support teams on all payroll related matters and assisting the business with reporting and analysis to identify patterns, issues and provide summary results. Qualifications To create success in this role, you will experience in; Working with a multi-state payroll processing within a medium to large enterprise Previous experience with Modern Awards, particularly the Vehicle Repair, Services and Retail Award would be advantageous Advanced excel skills You will have excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills with experience dealing with employees, vendors and government departments You will have high attention to detail and excellent time management skills to ensure critical deadlines are consistently met Additional Information We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
