To administer the timely, accurate and relevant processing, recording and reporting of payroll and related activities. Here's what you'll be doing:  Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll services, including the review and award interpretation of employee timesheets prior to payment. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the interpretation of Modern Awards and EAs. Ensure Payroll Governance and Compliance Strategy is adhered to.  Ensure a high level of customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate employee records across various HR, Payroll, Rostering and Time and Attendance platforms. Investigate, troubleshoot and problem solve any complex payroll queries in a timely manner. Liaise with National Workplace Health Safety & Environment in relation to ensure accurate employees workers compensation payments and reimbursements. Liaise with Finance in relations to employee costings, payroll journals, leave liabilities, payroll tax, PAYG, employee deductions, payroll reports, FBT, etc. Identify and assist line managers and supervisors to develop their knowledge and skills on payroll processes and systems requirements.  Develop and provide timely, regular, and ad hoc reporting as required including WEGA and HR board report. Contribute to the development of process improvement including monitoring, reviewing, and improving relevant policies and payroll procedures on a regular basis. Ad-hoc support to various HR / Payroll projects and initiatives. The role is based at (insert location), with (any benefits eg free on-site parking and easy access to public transport).  What do I need for the role?  You'll have:  At least 5-7 years' experience in the provision of end-to-end payroll services to a mid-sized organisations. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced skills in excel. Working knowledge of Payroll and HR systems (Elmo). Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to key stakeholders. Attention to detail, accuracy, and a compliance focus. Familiarity with industrial instrument application Ability to manage competing priorities.  Ability to prepare comprehensive reports to inform operational and strategic considerations. Demonstrated accuracy in personal file recording and management.  Well-developed problem-solving skills Commitment to maintaining best practice end to end payroll currency.
