Due to a systems upgrade project within the business, we are seeking the support of an experienced Payroll Officer to join us at our Head Office, Banyo site, on a 6–7-months contract.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working with an experienced payroll team, your main role will be to ensure all employee pays are processed nationally on time, accurately and in compliance with the Award/Agreement for each state.
Responsibilities: End to end weekly payroll processing.Manage general queries and support the team.Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address employee payroll inquiries and provide support.Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless pay run.Stay updated with payroll regulations and compliance requirements to ensure accurate payroll administration.Assist in preparing payroll reports and contribute to process improvements for increased efficiency.Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in all payroll-related activities.Support payroll related projects form a nation perspective where required.About You: Previous experience in a similar role within a high volume, multi-site environment with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy in your workBasic knowledge of payroll processes, legislation and compliance is desirable.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.As the successful applicant, you will be a valuable team member working within our supportive Finance Team.
