Payroll Officer

Full-time/4-week contract Great team/Capalaba based office Immediate start!
We are working with one of the most recognisable names in the Construction industry in South East Queensland.
They are looking for a Payroll Officer to join the team in Capalaba.
It is a 4-week, full-time contract.
Starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities: Process accurate and timely payroll  Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll records.
Administer employee benefits and deductions.
Communicate with employees regarding payroll matters.
Generate payroll reports for management, project teams and Finance.
Candidate Criteria:  Demonstrated experience with processing a medium sized payroll, end-to-end, in a weekly environment Experience in processing Salary Sacrifice arrangements, Bonus Payments, Workers Compensation payments, Government Paid Parental Leave Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail  A friendly customer service outlook  Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation as it applies to Payroll (e.g., LSL, Workers Compensation, Superannuation and Tax)  Previous exposure to the Building & Construction / Clerical Awards highly desirable.
