Payroll Officer

Reporting to the Payroll Team leader and part of the broader people team, the primary function of the Payroll Advisor is to ensure that all aspects of the payroll function for Redpath Australia are processed in an accurate and timely manner and maintaining and expanding the use of payroll systems within the business.
The People team is a team of 13 with the payroll function a team of 3 with approximately 1200 employees across 3 different pay runs per month – fortnightly, monthly and expat monthly.

What you'll be doing: Process payroll functions (end-to-end) Process fortnightly payrolls Calculations, taxation and reconciliations as required Responding to payroll enquiries Analysing payroll data & more Skills & Experience: 1-2 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ADP payroll system highly regarded High level of attention to detail & simple problem-solving skills Experience in payroll data capture, analysis and designing/generating reports Outstanding attention to detail ensuring all standards, legislation and compliance are met Ability to pass a National Police Clearance In return you can expect: Competitive salary package Salary continuance insurance & life insurance Salary Sacrifice for Superannuation and Novated car leasing Business improvement and innovation rewards Employee Assistance (4 sessions per annum), well-being assistance that's free for all the family
