Your Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will take ownership of the Australian payroll, which is processed offshore.
Your role will encompass end-to-end payroll for approximately 150 salaried and casual staff, including:
Being the first point of contact for all payroll queries and resolving issues; Processing timesheets and inputting payroll data for submission; Reviewing and approving payroll reports for payment; Interpreting Awards and ensuring payroll compliance; Working closely with the HR and Finance teams for timely payroll processing; Managing all leave and entitlements accruals and payments; Payment of WorkCover, Superannuation, and PAYG; End-of-month reconciliations and general management reporting.
About You
You will be an experienced payroll professional with several years of experience in end-to-end processing for a workforce above 100 employees. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of Awards, employment, and payroll legislation and be proficient in using various payroll software.
As this is an autonomous role, you will be a self-starter looking to join a close-knit, lovely team. You must demonstrate strong communication and patience as you will be liaising with team members around the globe. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
