About the role Based in our Brisbane Head Office, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the Finance team at Lorna Jane.
As the Payroll Officer your role will be to ensure all team members are paid correctly and on time, through efficient and accurate payroll processing.
You'll be responsible for:Collating all T&A data for the AU and NZ fortnightly payrollsProcessing terminations within the required legislative timeframes, ensuring departing team members receive an accurate final payment in line with relevant legislationProcessing pay queries and managing the queries inboxSupporting the People Team with New Starters being set upManaging Paid Parental Leave Payments in conjunction with Centrelink end to endCompleting Centrelink Separation Certificates when requested, ensuring complete and accurate information is providedClosing out payroll deadlines and reporting to the Payroll ManagerAssisting the Payroll Manager to complete audit reporting to ensure pending errors are captured prior to payments being processedVerifying Dayforce data with the applicable reports to ensure that all errors are resolved prior to pay closureEnsuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation and regulations, keeping abreast of any changes as they occurAssisting in the creation and maintenance of internal payroll forms as requiredAttending relevant meetings with external vendors alongside the Payroll Manager with a focus of continuous improvementProactively identifying opportunities for internal process improvement to ensure streamlined and efficient payroll operationsMaintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by adhering to confidentiality obligationsAbout You:2 + years previous payroll experienceKnowledge of employment legislation including PAYG and Superannuation Guarantee ContributionsStrong reporting and analytical skillsIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel)High level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organisational, planning and time management skillsEffective stakeholder engagement and ability to build relationshipsPrevious experience with Dayforce and Roubler systems is highly desirableKnowledge of GRIA (General Retail Industry Award 2020)Knowledge of Kiwi Saver New ZealandActivate your career now – APPLY NOW!#J-18808-Ljbffr
