Payroll Officer
Golding has a vacancy for a full-time Payroll Officer based in our Milton office. Golding also offer flexible working arrangements.

Given recent business growth, Golding now have a vacancy for a full-time Payroll Officer based in our Brisbane office located in Milton.
Proficiency in using SAP is essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will also have a high attention to detail and be able to work productively with minimal supervision. Experience in undertaking payroll administration tasks in a project based organisation with various industrial agreements will also be an advantage. Working in a small team, it will be imperative that the successful candidate demonstrate a proactive, organised and flexible work style.
Golding offer flexible working arrangements with the option to work from home 1-2 days a week or as agreed with your Manager.
Key role tasks include: Establish, change and terminate employees within SAP payroll according to authorised contractual documentation and your role authority; Prepare payments for Golding employees such that they are accurate and timely; Resolve and respond to payroll queries in a timely manner where it lie within your authority or escalate to your Supervisor and Manager where the matter lie outside your authority; Undertake tasks assigned by your Supervisor associated with end of month (EOM) and end of year (EOM) transactions and reporting; Provide payroll advice to Golding Managers and Supervisors with the aim of improving the quality of payroll administration activities undertaken (including input and release of payroll data in SAP and other applications); Take necessary measures such that all obligations of payroll are met; and Produce payroll reports as required by Managers and where authorised by your Supervisor and Manager. Key role capability requirements: Previous experience in a multi-site organisation highly desirable; An ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; A high attention to detail with good organisational skills; Ability to communicate effectively; Proficient in using SAP; and Ability to maintain confidentiality.
