As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the payroll network of corporate offices while providing support to the overall franchise network. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of payroll administration - from processing and maintaining payroll accounts to ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a Payroll Implementation project. This role requires someone who is not only proficient in payroll practices but also committed to continuous improvement.
What you'll do: Manage end-to-end processing of fortnightly employee payroll data accurately and to deadlineProcess, maintain and reconcile payroll accountsComplete all necessary compliance lodgements for single touch payroll, superannuation, and payroll taxParticipate in the Payroll Implementation project, including requirements gathering, data analysis and manipulation, data migration, testing and go-live support and change managementPrepare payroll reporting for management as requiredDrive to achieve continuous improvement in the overall payroll processesWhat you bring: Proven experience in a similar Payroll positionExperience in leading projects, preferably implementation of systemsProficiency in using Reckon, Aurion or Netsuite preferredQuick learner and an effective user of technologyIntermediate to advanced excel skillAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
