About the role The Payroll Officer role plays a vital service and processing role in the accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. The Payroll Officer will deliver excellent payroll service to Estia Health homes by:
Ensure accurate setting up of new starters. Process terminations and pay adjustments (of large value). Resolve payroll-related queries and issues. Answer and respond to phone and email queries. Assist with leave audits and leave paid in advance process. Process end-to-end payroll (over 5,000 employees). Complete payroll reporting from payroll system. Contribute to process development and improvement. Participate in internal and external audits as required. Contribute to the creation of payroll policies and procedures. Supporting all members of the Payroll team as required. The traits that will help you succeed Minimum 5 years of payroll experience Experience dealing with a large volume payroll Strong end-to-end payroll processing knowledge Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work tight deadlines Experience working within a high-volume payroll environment Knowledge of EBA's and award interpretation an advantage As one of the largest and fastest growing aged care providers in Australia, we need exceptional people to join us on our journey of changing the way we offer aged care.
