As the heartbeat of their payroll operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their employees are paid accurately and on time, enabling them to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will also support the HR team with entry level HR responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:End to end processing of multiple companies, up to 450 employeesEnsuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner to meet payroll deadlinesPayroll preparation by ensuring all changes to payroll files have been made prior to processingCalculating earnings and deductions dependent on shift differentials, overtime and other factorsEntering new employees into our onboarding system through Tanda and ensuring that all relevant data has been suppliedCreating employment contractsAssist with general payroll queries in a timely manner either via email, face to face or telephoneDaily upkeep of time and attendance, annual and personal leave recordsInterpretation of Awards and Employment AgreementsSecure filing of personnel and payroll informationAssist with Superannuation queries, reporting and monthly remittancesAssist with End of Financial Year payroll processing and reportingProvide administration support to the Payroll Supervisor and Human Resources Manager as requiredWhat you'll needPrevious work experience in a similar end to end Payroll positionSolid understanding of general payroll systems, procedures and legislationHave an understanding of awards and other employment conditions, strong people skills and confidence to perform inductions and onsite toursAbility to work in an open team environment and to accept direction guidance and feedbackExperience with Tanda and an advantage but not essentialComputer literate with strong skills with Microsoft Office suiteProven ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levelsWhat We Offer:$80k + SuperMon-Fri Roster - Gold Coast office based.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Career development and growth opportunities.Today is the day you take control of your future!
