This is a Fixed Term Contract for 9 months. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
About the role: Expertise in Australian Payroll Legislation: Compliance: In-depth understanding of Australian tax laws, superannuation, Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and enterprise agreements.Reporting: Familiarity with Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting to the ATO.Leave Management: Detailed knowledge of statutory leave entitlements (annual leave, sick leave, long service leave, etc.
