Excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team at Fleurieu Cranes! About The Opportunity As the Payroll Officer, you will oversee the entire end-to-end payroll process for Fleurieu Cranes & Macweld Crane Hire.
The weekly payroll covers 135+ employees under multiple Enterprise Agreements and Awards, as well as salaried employees.
Your Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To Preparation of weekly payroll to be paid on Wednesdays, including any employee timesheet queries.
Reviewing, updating and data entry of timesheets.
Maintaining and ensuring data integrity of payroll information is up to date and correct.
Preparation/file set up of new employees.
Processing terminations.
Review and reporting of payroll liabilities, including LSL, RTWSA, superannuation, child support, BIRST, PAYG, and payroll tax.
Management and resolution of employee queries.
Preparation of payroll reports.
Ideally, this is a full-time role but flexibility for a 4-day week will be considered with Monday through to Wednesdays being essential days.
About You As a payroll professional, your deep knowledge and experience will ensure that timeliness and accuracy requirements are met.
You have outstanding communication skills and a dedicated commitment to delivering outstanding service to employees.
You Will Have/be Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A proven ability to apply industrial awards and legislation relevant to payroll.
Significant experience processing end to end payroll including rostered, salaried, and casual staff covered by various agreement types and conditions.
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills with site workers to address anything timesheet/payroll related.
Experience in processing overtime and site allowances.
Outstanding problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to deadlines.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel.
It would be ideal if you have an understanding and working knowledge of MYOB.
Experience with construction, manufacturing or industries with similar payroll requirements is highly regarded.
