Payroll Officer, Finance and Payroll Services (002006)Location: Australia, TasAbout Tasmania GovernmentAbout the Tasmanian State ServiceThe Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.Fixed-Term, Full Time - Up until 18 February 2025DutiesUndertake specialist functions including utilising an integrated computerised Human Resource Management (HRM) system to provide quality personnel and payroll processing services.Pre-Employment ChecksThe Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. Any relevant serious criminal offence or repeated serious offences over any period may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment.
