The Role:
As a Payroll Officer and Employment Administrator, you will manage all aspects of payroll while also taking on key HR responsibilities. You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth, accurate and timely payroll processing and supporting our team's HR needs to foster a great workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities: End-to-end payroll processing for a high-volume environment.Calculating and processing leave, deductions, entitlements and terminations.Ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, relevant Awards and reporting requirements.Preparing superannuation, PAYG and assisting with reconciliations and annual reporting.Managing payroll queries and resolving them promptly.Working with management to ensure smooth employment commencement for new team members.Maintaining up-to-date job descriptions for all team members.Assisting with employee relations, including disciplinary actions and terminations.Managing WorkCover premiums and claims.Supporting the improvement of staff culture and morale through HR initiatives.Ensuring compliance with HR policies and relevant legislation.General office dutiesWhat You'll Need to Succeed: Proven experience in both payroll and employment administrator in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and HR best practices.Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HR systems.A great attitude and a passion for delivering accurate and timely results.Why Join Us?
