About the Role
We are seeking an organized and self-motivated Payroll Officer to join our Finance team.
In this role, you will assist with various payroll-related tasks.
Working part-time, 4 days per week (negotiable), and will report directly to the Accounts Manager, with the office located in Dingley.
Hybrid arrangements are available after probation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and transactional support to the Finance team Resolve payroll errors and respond to payroll-related queries Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain accurate payroll records Develop ad hoc financial and operational reports as needed Provide administrative support to accounts receivable and payable functions Assist in general financial records management and analysis Liaise with internal and external stakeholders Ensure accuracy in processing payroll changes and updates in each payroll cycle Collaborate with Human Resources to maintain up-to-date employee information
About You
Proven experience in processing end-to-end payroll Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite Ability to manage high-volume transactions with precision Adaptability to learn new systems and processes Capable of working both autonomously and in a team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
