We are built on over 50 years' experience as industry specialists, and exceptional service is the cornerstone of our business.About the opportunityReporting to the GM Finance, the Payroll Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing Autocare's payroll function. In this role, you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of pay runs and the adherence to applicable awards and legislation. Additionally, you will focus on the continuous improvement of payroll processes, promoting best practice standards and play a pivotal role in embedding and then managing an outsourced vendor.Key responsibilities include:Manage end-to-end payroll process with new outsourced provider, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, including superannuation and taxation.Ensure accurate payroll reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.Identify and implement opportunities for improving payroll processes and policies.Provide subject matter expertise on payroll issues to management and employees.Address employee inquiries in a timely and knowledgeable manner.Prepare for regular audits and assist with any queries raised.Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and customer satisfaction.About your experienceYou will have demonstrated experience in a similar project support capacity with a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures and an ability to manage a vendor to ensure desired outcomes. Skills and experience will include:Extensive experience as a Payroll Manager within a large, complex environment.Qualifications in Finance or relevant business disciplines.Extensive experience understanding and applying complex EAs and industrial instruments and payroll legislation.Proven business partnering experience, managing and building relationships with all necessary stakeholders.Experience in payroll system conversions and implementations across Asia Pac highly regarded.Ultimately, an ability to engage and influence across the organisation and manage the vendor to ensure the effective deployment and management of critical payroll services and initiatives will see you flourish in this role.The BenefitsWorking for us will put you in a strategic position with your career, with opportunities for growth and development along with financial and non-financial benefits.
