Based out of our new corporate head office in Rhodes, you will be responsible for ensuring completion of weekly payroll processing, records maintenance, tax reports filling, accounting transaction preparations, reports generation for management along with mentoring an amazing team.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leading the payroll team.Accurate and timely processing of all payroll transactions.Ensure the Payroll system/s are compliant with all statutory and EBA requirements.Leadership of end of financial year requirements.Participation in Payroll system reforms, including testing and implementation of Time & Attendance and Payroll automation software.Support all Internal and External audits as required.Review of weekly payroll reports.Payment to superannuation funds, including notification of new and terminating employees and reconciliation of superannuation reports.Provision of information to the ATO in relation to PAYG, withholding and TFN declarations.Payment of salary packaging amounts, union fees, child support, social club contributions and other payroll related items.Liaison with staff in relation to any payroll matters or queries relating to employee entitlements.Keeping the Chief Financial Officer and People & Capability Manager abreast of all key payroll issues. ABOUT YOU Experience in payroll including multiple Enterprise Agreements, particularly with the Construction Sector.Sound understanding of all payroll related compliance and reporting requirements.Experience in Payroll system and process improvements, including implementation of Time & Attendance and Payroll automation software.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.High degree of professionalism and discretion.Strong communication and customer service skills.Experience in leading and mentoring a team.Desirable experience using Jobpac ERP.
