Market-leading remuneration package depending on experience + salary packaging ($15,900 + meal allowance) - please reach out to discuss Flexible working arrangements Fantastic workplace culture and growth opportunities Description Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, your role will include: Manage the Payroll Team to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages, and ensure appropriate review, reconciliation, and governance measures are in place.
Identify and manage payroll-related risks.
Support the Payroll team as an escalation point for technical queries and review.
Undertake timely and accurate review of complex payroll calculations (in accordance with Award and National Employment Standards).
Manage key outsourced supplier relationships and interactions, including the payroll system, industry memberships, and salary packaging providers.
Implement and maintain a robust and transparent reporting culture for the receipt of feedback and escalation of issues or queries identified.
Ensure the documentation of processes to support payroll activity, as well as processes for data sharing and reliance between HR, Finance, and Payroll functions.
Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to prepare the annual remuneration review for CFO review.
Play a key subject matter expert role in the upgrading of payroll and HRIS systems.
Profile We are seeking experienced payroll professionals who have a genuine passion for leadership and championing continuous improvement initiatives.
The key selection criteria are as follows: Relevant experience in delivery and management of a payroll function.
Experience with Chris21/i Chris is desirable but not a prerequisite.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders to identify business issues, document risks and recommendations, and resolve issues.
Staff management skills and experience.
Proven stakeholder management skills and proven strong performance in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Sound written and verbal communication skills + strong attention to detail.
