Payroll Manager

Exciting Gold Miner with an abundance of activity. You will have the opportunity to join this rapidly growing company and branch out beyond your 'normal' 9-5 and make this role your own. Currently gearing up to welcome 500 operational employees, offering new challenges and growth opportunities as they prepare for the future.Overview: This hire will be an instrumental part of the expansion of the business, by supporting the growth of the operational capabilities.Suiting an experienced payroll manager, initially this will be a standalone position. You will therefore bring comfort with the delivery of operational payroll spanning salaried office staff, those on timesheets, and a FIFO workforce. Experience with rostered workforces, ideally in mining, will be important.In the near term, rather than through team supervision, your managerial experience will be put to best use managing upward; dealing with senior stakeholders within the business around efficiencies and payroll associated areas (tax implications etc).Key relationships will be the Group HR Manager, Financial Controller, and Finance Manager.Culturally, this will appeal if you are looking for a social environment where staff are engaged and energetic.The team is invested in this growth phase and will suit you best if you are looking for a role that you can make your own, with scope to bring 'best of' approaches from your prior roles.About you:Proven experience in the mining sector with 5+ years in a senior payroll role.Experience with Definitiv, ADP, and SAP (ideally).Strong knowledge of awards, Enterprise Agreements (EA), Fair Work Act, and employment agreements.Relevant payroll taxation knowledge and confidence providing advice.Interested?Please apply using the button above or email me directly at .
