The Role As Payroll Manager, you will oversee all aspects of payroll for our diverse and growing workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees and contractors across multiple sites.Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws, superannuation regulations, and modern awards.Oversee salary packaging, allowances, benefits, and deductions.Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Handle payroll audits and reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.Collaborate with HR and Finance to improve processes and systems.Provide expert advice on payroll-related matters, resolving employee queries promptly.About You To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a large or complex organisation.Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including superannuation, tax, and awards.Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills.Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the business.Knowledge of the rail, construction or infrastructure sector is a plus but not essential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
