About the opportunity: Altrad is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at our Subiaco office. In this leadership role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality payroll services, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and aligning with our Company Values for long-term success.
As a key manager, you will drive service excellence, foster a collaborative team environment, and build strong business relationships. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing salary disbursements, overpayment recovery, and payroll reporting, ensuring all activities are completed within required timeframes and meet legislative requirements.
Your day-to-day includes: Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work whilst carrying out the duties of this role in line with Company Values to achieve long-term success.Assist the organisation to meet its taxation, superannuation and other legislative and statutory obligations through processing and preparation of returns, related reports, forms, and other documentation as requested.Provide and promote service excellence and foster effective teamwork and business relationships.Ensure the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities, including salary disbursement, overpayment recovery and reporting are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant legislation.Provide a responsive, accurate client advisory service on payroll matters, resolve difficult enquiries, and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee payments are processed accurately based on the information provided.Management of local and offshore Payroll team to ensure operational requirements are not only met but exceeded.About you: Technically strong Senior Payroll Manager with minimum of 5 years' experience in Payroll Management role with demonstrable skills in payroll softwareDemonstrated experience working with Definitiv is essentialClear understanding of Payroll practices, including but not limited to Single Touch Payroll, ATO, Superannuation and industrial legislation.Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Access, Excel, Outlook.Personnel and people management abilities including supervision, team building and conflict resolution.Proven ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levels.Why you should work for Altrad We provide the benefits you'd expect from a global company, but what makes us different?
