We are seeking a talented Payroll Manager to join our CDC Regional Australia Region (RAD) team. This position can be based at Kunda Park on the Sunshine Coast or our Eagle Farm office in Brisbane.
Primary Purpose of Position Reporting to the General Manager Finance and Commercial (RAD), the Payroll Manager RAD will have full responsibility for all payroll aspects of the Regional Australia Division including maintaining and improving the company's payroll process, providing accurate and timely reports as required, ensuring compliance with all statutory payroll requirements and the efficient administration of company Employee processes.
To be considered for this role, you have:
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience Tertiary qualifications in accounting, human resources or related field highly regarded3+ Years of payroll management experience, preferably across multiple jurisdictionsExperience in Sage Micropay system. Knowledge and application of effective payroll practices and principlesExperience in compliance with federal and state payroll laws and regulationsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail and respond appropriately under time and pressure situationsAbility to interpret awards / agreements and understand legislative requirements Awareness of the various Long Service Leave ActsWell-developed computer literacy including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.Ability to lead a small team.Responsibilities (not limited to) Accurately process in a timely manner, weekly payrollMonthly superannuation reporting and payment obligationsReconciliation of payroll, superannuation calculations and payments in addition to authorised payroll deductionsPreparation, distribution and lodgement of PAYG summariesPeriodic reporting to management CDC is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer committed to attracting and developing a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
