Payroll Manager & Excel Specialist

This is a unique role for a Payroll Manager as it throws a lot of challenges as we are a Labour Hire company that deals with a multitude of clients, awards and data differences.
You need a strong ability to process quickly, resolve problems, be a critical thinker and investigator.
Your ability to solve problems and your attention to detail must be of a high standard to achieve success in this role.
We need someone who can step up and take on the responsibility and accountability for accuracy, execution and timely reporting in processing, collating and managing end to end payroll.
Splitting your week between payroll, leadership and implementing improvements designed by you and the team will provide challenge and variety.

What is involved in the role: Prepare and process multiple end to end pay runs weeklyPrepare and lodge Single Touch Payroll information to ATOCalculation and management of PAYG, payroll tax and Workers CompensationPrepare and lodge superannuation contributionsProcess backpays and/or correction pays when requiredMultiple Awards and EBA interpretation and breakdown for rate cardsPerform monthly payroll reconciliation and management reportingResolve payroll related queries and issuesCreate and contribute to process improvementsWork closely with our recruitment and operations teams to achieve harmonious workflow and client satisfaction.Do you have: At least 5 years' payroll end to end experienceExperience in leading a teamAbility to interpret effectively and accurately different awards and EBA'sGood knowledge of superannuation, tax and payroll tax legislationExperience with large and complex weekly payrollStrong qualities in accuracy, attention to detail and prioritisationAbility to collate and report accurately on relevant dataA disciplined and positive attitude to your workAdvanced Excel skillsWhat you can expect: Good leadership and support with a positive team environmentGreat salary packageCareer progression and further training opportunitiesIf you believe you have these attributes, please apply via seek and we will be in contact directly.
