CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Administrator to become part of our client's team.
This is an exciting permanent position with an immediate start available, located in Coopers Plains, QLD 4108.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end processing of payroll, including resolving employee queries.
Process leave requests, overtime/allowances calculations, and generate payroll journals while calculating leave accruals.
Reconcile and lodge all payroll-related statutory payments, such as PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax, and WorkCover.
Advise management on payroll-related matters, including updates on payroll legislation and taxation queries.
Assist the finance team with general ledger reconciliations, payroll-related balance sheet accruals, and data entry when required.
Provide clerical and administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, covering recruitment, promotions, changes in conditions, probation, and terminations.
Maintain HR and employee records, files, registers, and databases, along with HR forms and templates.
Create employment contracts and supplementary documents while contributing to the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate induction and mandatory training, ensuring employee training records are up to date.
Assist the HR Manager with worker's compensation matters.
Our Ideal Candidate: Possesses high-level skills in payroll with great attention to detail in data entry and administration tasks.
Has extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing for a medium to large organization, with a minimum of 5 years in payroll.
Holds advanced knowledge of relevant employment and statutory legislation, including award interpretation, withholding tax, payroll tax, and PAYG.
Experience with MicroPay is highly advantageous.
Demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure while providing high-level support to the team.
Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in computer skills, with Excel expertise being extremely important for this role , including intermediate skills such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
Displays excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience with Pronto is highly regarded.
