In this role you will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Payroll solutions for our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and Workday's functionalities to ensure seamless integration and operation.
You will also engage/partner with clients and advise them on the use of Workday to meet their business objectives to deliver high-quality solutions. This also involves capacity building, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities.
This role will offer broader experience across business flows, client interactions, and provide training and support to our junior team members. You will gain domain expertise plus a fresh perspective of looking at the industry.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Implementation & Configuration: Configure Workday payroll systems to align with client requirements and organizational goals.
Take responsibility for implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system.
Manage integrations between Workday Payroll and external systems such as financial platforms and external agencies.
Process Optimisation: Communicate Workday capabilities in relation to the client's needs, recommending solutions for optimal business practices and identifying and evaluating inefficiencies.
Ensure data accuracy and streamline workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure payroll processes adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Develop payroll reports with accuracy and timely submission enabling auditing for compliance.
Troubleshooting & Support: Identify, analyze, and resolve payroll-related issues within Workday.
Enable our clients by creating end user training documentation and conducting training sessions.
Provide post-go-live support and resolve system/process related inquiries.
Corporate Initiatives: Implement our Trust Program policies, processes, and practices - be a champion of our four pillars of security, privacy, compliance, and risk.
Adhere to all client requirements related to the four pillars of our Trust program and their overall governance structure.
Understand the company purpose and focus for the year, including Organisation and Developing Me Initiatives with the help of your Lead.
Contribute to the growth of Mivada by living our Purpose and supporting the attainment of North Star objectives.
RequirementsWHO YOU ARE Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience working closely with Human Resource teams, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR business processes and payroll.
Familiarity with compliance requirements such as tax, superannuation, leave, garnishments, and financial reporting for Australia.
Proficient in leveraging any HRIS or payroll systems for day-to-day operations, such as data entry, report generation, workflow management, and processing payroll.
Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing and configuring any HRIS/Payroll system.
Soft Skills: Experience in working on Agile and waterfall projects.
Excellent listening, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred but Not Required Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing and configuring Workday Payroll systems.
