Apply now!Job DescriptionReporting directly to the CFO, your duties will include:Processing end to end Payroll:Assist in the preparation and administration of employment contracts and facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees.Process employee terminations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.Prepare and deliver monthly and ad-hoc payroll reports to meet management and compliance requirements.Manage the accurate and timely processing of fortnightly, monthly, and ad-hoc payroll cycles for casual, part-time, and full-time staff.Oversee the approval of time-sheets, leave requests, and expense claims.Calculate monthly payroll taxes and ensure accurate preparation and submission of superannuation contributions in accordance with statutory requirements.Assisting with a System Implementation:Assist with the successful rollout of a new payroll system, ensuring a smooth transition from the current system by providing critical input into design, testing, and execution phases.Oversee the accurate migration of payroll data, ensuring completeness and correctness of employee records.Participate in system testing to ensure payroll functionality.Develop, document, and update payroll processes, procedures, and workflows.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll requirements are met throughout the system implementation.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will ideally have 3 - 4 years of payroll experience, ideally in a standalone role.
